Crown of the Vampire 😈

Once upon a time there was a castle named Dracvil where a vampire family lived. The owner of that castle was always busy that he doesn't have any time to play with his son. His son, Ethen was a curious little boy and was always eager to explore things. Ethen spent most of his time with his mother Linda. 

Ethen was always curious about why we shouldn't go out during day time, so he asked Linda about it. Linda said "Son, if you go outside during day time, the sunlight will turn you into dust and you will disappear without any traces" The son laughed and said "Really mom! I can't believe it!" And he went to his room. Linda was always afraid of Ethen's curiosity that it could affect him. 

Since Ethen lived in a castle, it was the height of 10 story building from where he can see the human village. The days passed. One day Ethen heard the sound of the human children playing in the broad sunlight near the castle. He longed to play with them. 

He asked his mom " Mom, can I go outside and play with those children?" Linda said "No Ethen, you can go outside and play during night" Ethen replied with sad face "But mom those children will not come at night" Linda smiled and said "Don't worry son I will play with you and also your friends will come to play with you" Ethen was heartbroken and walked to his room and with eyes filled with jealousy he stared at those children who were playing happily in the sunlight. 

Again another day he saw the human children playing outside the castle. He really wanted to play with them. So he decided to go outside in the broad daylight against the vampire rules.

When he stepped in the sunlight, he was shocked to see that he did not disappear. So he started walking towards the children with a huge smile in his face. But, the more he exposed to sunlight, he noticed that he got burns in his skin. He could not tolerate the pain and ran towards his mother and shouted "Mom! Mom! See when I went outside, the sunlight  didn't turn me into a dust but I got burns in my skin, why mom?" Linda was worried to see the burns in his body and said "Son, I was afraid that you would go outside like this and have burns all over your body, so I lied to you that the sunlight will turn you into dust. But son, you should not go in the sunlight because, anyways you will eventually die because of burns. It's against the vampire rules to roam outside during the day because these burns could kill you".

Ethen said "But why mom? I also want to play with my friends in daylight. Why can't the sun show mercy on us? What did we do to deserve this kind of fate?" His mother smiled and said "Son, every living creatures in this world deserved to be treated equally. In hands of the nature we all are equal. Let me clarify about that. Son, we vampires can see in the dark but humans can only barely see in the dark. We can fly, morph to bat or wolf, and have some special powers. But humans do not have those super powers instead they have technology. We know magic and they have science. One should not go against the law of nature. Once you are against it, it will eventually kill you." 

Ethen asked "If it is the law of nature then when can I play in the sunlight mom? I also want to enjoy the sunlight" Linda replied "Ethen, we have moon to play with. You can play with your vampire friends in the moonlight. Like how humans have sunlight, we have moonlight. Remember one thing son 'OUR CROWN DOESN'T FALL IN THE DARK' ".

Ethen heard everything quietly and decided not to go against the law of the nature and said "I would find solutions without going against the law of the nature! ".
